Christmas Cocktails

 

 

Apple Cider Old Fashion

  • 2 oz Bourbon or Rye
  • 3 dashes of Angostura Bitters
  • 3 dashes of Orange Bitters
  • 1/2 oz of Cinnamon Simple Syrup
  • splash of fresh lemon juice
  • 2 oz of Apple Cider

Build in a double rocks glass with ice and stir until chilled. Garnish with cinnamon stick and thinly sliced apples soaked in lemon juice so they do not brown. 

 


Light Ginger Snap:

 

  • 1 1/2 of Diplomatico Rum
  • 1/2 oz Domaine Ginger Liqueur
  • 1 1/2 of Apple Cider 
  • 1/4 oz of melted butter with vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 oz butterscotch schnapps

Build in shaker without ice and dry shake for 20 seconds. Add ice and shake again for 20 seconds. Make sure to double strain as the butter will coagulate once it is chilled. Serve in couple glass rimmed with cinnamon. Garnish with cookie thins. 


Mexican Hot Chocolate: 

 

  • 1 1/2 oz Cazadores Sliver Tequila
  • 1/2 oz of Cinnamon Syrup
  • 3/4 oz Cafe Bueno Coffee liqueur 
  • 4 oz of Endangered Species Milk Chocolate heated and melted down with milk 

Stir all ingrediants together. Becareful contents will be hot. Pour into heat safe glass. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. You can add a mint sprig for color. 


Chocolate Raspberry Cake:

 

  • 2 oz of Hanson Organic Vodka
  • 1 oz Creme de Cocoa
  • 1 oz raspberry puree
  • dash of vanilla syrup
  • spoon of whipped cream or .5 oz of heavy cream 

Shaken over ice and strained 

Whipped cream and raspberry garnish 

Served in a vintage martini glass
